09/08/04 new Integralvision site launches

Our last web site was supposed to be just a temporary one which, unfortunately, we made do with for three years! Finding the time to design and build a new site for ourselves has been a huge headache. While we know the importance of getting it right, we are too busy to spend the time on it we would like... ho hum. Well here it is, our third site in five years. We expect to further develop it over the next few months (yeah I've heard that before). In the meantime, any feedback will be welcome.

05/08/04 launch of site for Please Miss

Please Miss is a new information portal about schools in the UK. Here you can find out about the National Curriculum, maths homework, SATS, special educational needs, school uniform, name tapes, children's parties, schools bullying, school holidays, healthy eating for kids, childcare, etc., etc.. To view the site go to www.pleasemiss.co.uk.

13/05/04 launch of site for Anzio Ltd

Anzio Ltd is a Link-Up Approved railway contractor and RTAS & CITB Approved training company which serves the Railway Industry. Despite being a very successful company their web site was in desperate need of some professional help. The front page features a rather nifty Flash intro. To view the new site go to www.anzioltd.com.

13/05/04 launch of site for Mortgage Focus

We were approached by a UK online mortgage broker service specialising in online UK mortgages who were disappointed with the performance of their original site. We rebranded the company, built a new site to a tight budget and paid for inclusion with the search engines. To view the new site go to www.mortgage-focus.co.uk.

26/04/04 Relaunch of dating web site

Although One Fine Date only launched their original site in October 2003, based on feedback and the success of the site, the owners decided to commission a bigger and better version. The first site was done on a strict budget and this time we have been given the green light to pack in lots of features missing from the original. We expect to further develop the site over the next few months, including the launch of a site aimed at London. See www.onefinedate.co.uk for the current stage of development.

18/04/04 Home from Home Holidays web site

A new site for an exisiting client. Home From Home came to us about a year ago with a very pedestrian web site which was attracting zero business. We tidied up the original site and optimised it for search engines. The site has proved such an enormous success that the client has now decided to invest in a brand new design. We are also working on a glossy brochure they can send to their clients. To view the new site go to www.home-from-home-holidays.co.uk.

19/03/04 audio-visual display for Rwanda

We have been commissioned to produce an audio-visual display on behalf of the Aegis Trust which is implementing a number of Genocide Memorial Centres in Rwanda in time for the tenth anniversary of the massacre in 1994. We have been asked to provide an audio-visual display for the Centre at Murambi, a school where tens of thousands of people were killed. One of the key buildings of the school has been set aside by the Ministry of Youth Culture and Sport as a space to create a memorial from which the school children and local community can benefit. Integralvision is proud to be asked to work on this project. For further information about the Centre at Murambi or other Genocide Memorial Centres see the following links:
www.guardian.co.uk/elsewhere
www.guardian.co.uk/arts
www.aegistrust.org
www.rwandafund.org

Note: The Aegis Trust has decided to put off the launch of this particular memorial centre due to the overwhelming work involved in working on multiple sites at once. We expect the centre to now be open in July 2004.

Update: In July 2005 we were asked to update this multimedia presentation so it could be show at the G8 Summit. Not unfortunately to the world leaders but as part of a display set up in an African Hut outside the summit. This time the names were of those killed in the conflict in Darfur, Sudan (list supplied by Amnesty International).

19/03/04 Visa Applications Australia web site

Another old client of ours wanted a site for a new business idea. Their original site, Paralegalnet has topped the search engines for almost three years so who would they turn to to build the new site? Er, us of course. The new site is called Visa Applications Australia and as the name implies, it provides professional help to those seeking Australian working visas or to emigrate to Australia.

24/02/04 Ashburton Town web site launched

Ashburton launched its new Town Web site on Tuesday 24 January 2004, literally with a fanfare and fireworks (done as a Flash animation of course). It was open house at our offices in Ashburton to watch the Mayor press a virtual Launch Button. The event was broadcast on a big screen to ensure that nobody missed a thing. The new interactive site brings the Town's Web presence into the 21st century in terms of design, access to information and functionality. The site is designed to appeal to both residents and visitors alike with information about local businesses and shops of the town, things to do in the area, as well as easy access to local democracy, the weather and other up-to-date news relating to Ashburton. To view the new site go to www.ashburton.org.

09/01/04 discount bathroom web site launched

Sam's Plumbing Supplies had already been disappointed with the work produced by their previous web designer. After 6 months they had not had one order and, looking at the state of the site we were not surprised. Unfortunately, having been stung once, they were not willing to part with the money needed to produce an all singing, all dancing site. We had a budget for just two days work! Check out the site at www.samsplumbingsupplies.co.uk to see how we did.
