The Pennywell Farm website was voted the Tourism Website of the Year at the Southwest Tourism Excellence Awards. It is a lively mix of animation, interaction and sound, featuring Spot, the Farm Dog as he leads you around.
The site allows visitors to buy and print out tickets online, explore the farm using an Interactive map and view the latest pictures to be added to the scrolling Photo Gallery. As well as a custom shopping cart to help them sell and manage tickets, the site includes a custom Content Management System (CMS) so Pennywell can add new photos and the latest news to the site at any time. As soon as a new animal is born on the farm, they will be able to take a photo and within minutes, it can be up on the website.
The Pennywell web site has been listed as the New Media Age Site of the Week and was runner up for the Southwest Media Innovation Awards. Most recently, the Pennywell Farm website was voted the Tourism Website of the Year at the Southwest Tourism Excellence Awards.
The Dartmoor Virtual Tours website is an opportunity to explore aspects of Dartmoor's cultural heritage with the combination of Flash technology, 360 panoramic photographs, the spoken word and archive photographs. The first property added was Higher Uppacott, a Grade I listed medieval longhouse which originally accommodated both people and animals. This also covers the deserted medieval settlement at Hound Tor. The next phases of the development of the site centered on Higher Uppacott, Princetown, Postbridge and Haytor. Most recently we have completely remodeled the whole site with a new look and 3D animation on the maps.
The final phase of the project will start in February 2008 with the addition of a Virtual tour focused on Meldon near Okehampton.
Integralvision has supplied the new design for the official Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) web site. We beat both Devon based and national competition to win the tender for this project.
We worked closely with the DNPA designing and building a series of templates to integrate with their inhouse content management system. We were also asked to create three Flash children's games for the Fun Zone area. You can see several of the games in our Flash portfolio.
We were very proud to be asked to work on this project as the Ways With Words Literary Festival, sponsored by The Daily Telegraph newspaper, is known all over the world - and it's right on our doorstep!
We did all the original branding for the site and developed the database that the festival uses to manage the bookings. The site is now under the control of Ways With Words who keep it up to date manually.
After the success of the Toad Hall Cottages site we were asked to produce a Caribbean Holidays and Chartered sailing breaks website for Toad Hall Caribbean. Toad Hall have been operating 12 years in the Caribbean and know it well. This enables them to specialise in hideaway islands where few tourists go. The site has been built with many of the features developed for the Toad Hall Cottages site.
The River Tamar, together with its tributaries the Rivers Tavy and Lynher, forms part of the ancient border between the counties of Cornwall and Devon. The River runs almost sixty miles from the north coast near Bude, south to Plymouth Sound and almost separates Cornwall from the rest of England. The Tamar Valley Tourism Association (TAVATA) was formed in 2001 to encourage and promote quality tourism in the area. It is a not-for-profit organisation and the membership includes all business with an interest in tourism.
The website has been built to allow the public to quickly find places to stay, places to visit, things to do, places to eat, and things to buy within the Tamar Valley. The site is fully updateable by the client.
Moccas Court is a luxury country house hotel set deep in the Herefordshire countryside. Called "grand and groovy" in The Guardian's Guide to Rural Retreats. Winner of many awards, Moccas Court is a "classic example" of a country house hotel. The Guardian went on to say, "Authentic is the first word that comes to mind... Arcadian scenes straight from an 18th-century landscape painting.. In a sense, Moccas has invented a new variant on country escapes, the pure historical estate experience."
Integralvision were called in after their previous website, designed by a friend, failed to deliver. The new site allows the owners to update key areas, including News and Events, Menus and Tariffs, guests accolades and the ability to add images to the photo gallery.
Fingals is one of the most comfortable and quirky hotels in Devon.
They have had a huge success with their web site with guests "without fail, commenting on its excellence and how original and different it is". We understand that over half their booking come via the web.
The hotel was recently included in the "Top 10 summer destinations" by The Independent on Sunday.
Browns is a small townhouse hotel in the centre of Dartmouth. Formally known as the Little Admiral, Browns is owned and run by Clare and James Brown who have refurbished the hotel lovingly over the last three years to make an unstuffy yet stylish hotel, with contemporary furnishings and a relaxed feel.
The hotel already had a graphic designer working on rebranding the hotel and we were therefore required to use her original roughs as the basis for the design of the site. But as they say in the industry, "graphic design isn't web design". Particular attention has been paid to usability and accessibility. The site is database driven with the client having control over large areas of the content, including the Late Availability page.
