WordPress is an open source blogging platform that has become popular as a content management system (CMS). In fact Over 60 million people use WordPress to power their website. While we still believe that a custom built CMS provides the best option, our experience creating unique solutions using Wordpress means that the end result is in many ways almost as good as custom development.

Coombe Gallery

This is the second website we have built for Coombe Gallery in Dartmouth and the 6th we have built for all the Coombe Farm businesses.  The first gallery website was developed in 2002 and was totally custom built with many unique features. In 2010 it was felt a new site was needed and in these more asture times, the platform chosen was Wordpress.

Showing the work of artists such as Bridget McCrum, Gerry Dudgeon,  James Stewart, Jilly Sutton, Paul Riley, Sir Peter Blake and Will Shakspeare (to name but a few), Coombe Gallery is one of reasons that Dartmouth is so well known as a Gallery town.

While this might be Wordpress, the site is not short of custom features. The site was based on a Wordpress Gallery Theme that was heavily customised to match the clients requirements. The model for the brief was based on top gallery websites that had cost many thousands of pounds to build. We work very closely with the client to ensure that the minimal feel of the site is preserved.

Coombe Farm Studios

When Coombe opened in 1983, it was one of the first small artist-led centres offering residential creative courses. Today they continue to run residential courses year-round in both the UK & abroad as well as showcasing work from professional artists & makers at their on-site gallery.

This is the second website Integralvision has created for Coombe Farm Studios. The first one was completely custom designed and coded. The current website was built using Wordpress and includes a sophisticated events booking system, as well as an online shop, Blog and full content management.
