Integralvision has been managing its own servers for over 8 years. Our experiences have proved to us that, rather than maintaining a server in our offices, the most reliable solution is to rent rack space in a specialist data centre. This provides a secure environment, with 24 hour support and connection to the backbone of the Internet. While we make the most of the benefits of using a third party data centre, we have unlimited access to our dedicated server allowing us to manage all aspects of our client's websites.

Backup regime

Integralvision takes the backing up of its server very seriously. Below is a guide to our backup regime.

• The main server hard drive is mirrored and controlled by a RAID controller. In the unlikely event of a hard drive failure, the second drive would take over immediately.
• Nightly backup of our main server to external USB drive on our network at the data centre.
• Client databases are separately backed up to our office server. Versions are kept for five days
